This Refund Policy explains the circumstances under which Automation Transformation ("we," "us," "our") will provide refunds for membership fees paid to access the Fans and Creators community at fansandcreators.com (the "Service" or "Community").

By purchasing a membership, you acknowledge and agree to this Refund Policy.

This Refund Policy is incorporated into and forms part of our Terms of Service.

2. MEMBERSHIP TYPES

2.1 Free Creator Membership

Creator memberships (for creators generating $10,000+ MRR) are provided at no cost. Since no payment is collected, refunds are not applicable.

2.2 Paid Superfan Membership

Superfan memberships require payment and are available in two formats:

  • One-Time Payment: Single payment for a specified period of access
  • Subscription: Recurring payments charged at regular intervals (monthly, quarterly, annually)

3. GENERAL REFUND POLICY

3.1 Standard Position

All membership fees are generally non-refundable. By purchasing a membership, you acknowledge that:

  • You have reviewed the community features and benefits
  • You meet the age requirements (18+)
  • You agree to our Terms of Service and Community Guidelines
  • Membership fees are paid in exchange for immediate access to the community

3.2 No Satisfaction Guarantees

We do not offer satisfaction-based refunds. If you are dissatisfied with the community experience, we encourage you to:

4. ELIGIBLE REFUND SCENARIOS

Despite our general no-refund policy, we may provide full or partial refunds in the following limited circumstances:

4.1 Technical Issues Preventing Access

Full Refund Eligible: If you are unable to access the community due to technical issues on our end that:

  • Persist for more than 72 consecutive hours
  • Cannot be resolved by our technical support team
  • Prevent any meaningful use of the Service
  • Are not caused by your device, internet connection, or user error

  • Cooperate with troubleshooting efforts
  • Provide documentation of the technical issue

Refund Amount:

  • If issue occurs within first 7 days: Full refund
  • If issue occurs after 7 days: Pro-rata refund for unused time

4.2 Duplicate Charges or Payment Errors

Full Refund Eligible:

  • Accidental duplicate payments charged to your account
  • Charges that exceed the stated membership fee
  • Charges after subscription cancellation (if cancellation was processed correctly)
  • Unauthorized charges (not caused by your failure to secure your account)

Requirements:

  • Report the error within 30 days of the charge
  • Provide payment records showing the error
  • Cooperate with payment processor investigation

Refund Amount:

  • Full refund of erroneous charges only

4.3 Immediate Account Termination by Us

Partial or Full Refund Eligible: If we terminate your account within the first 30 days of your initial membership purchase due to:

  • False representation of creator revenue (claimed $10K+ MRR for free access when ineligible)
  • Mistaken violation determination (overturned on appeal)
  • Our operational decision to close community access

Not Refund Eligible:

  • Termination for violation of Terms of Service
  • Termination for violation of Community Guidelines
  • Ban for prohibited content or conduct
  • Termination for illegal activity

Requirements:

  • Account terminated by us, not at your request
  • No serious policy violations
  • Within 30 days of initial purchase

Refund Amount:

  • Determined on case-by-case basis
  • Typically 50-100% of unused membership time
  • No refund for any period where access was provided

4.4 Service Discontinuation

Pro-Rata Refund Eligible: If we permanently discontinue the Service entirely:

  • Refund of unused membership time
  • Calculated on a pro-rata basis
  • Only for annual or multi-month prepaid memberships

Not Applicable:

  • Temporary service interruptions
  • Feature changes or modifications
  • Platform migrations
  • Rebranding or ownership changes (if service continues)

4.5 Legal or Regulatory Compliance

  • Dissatisfaction with community content or members
  • Lack of engagement from other members
  • Disagreement with community rules or moderation
  • Not finding value in the community
  • Expected features not being available
  • Platform feedback not being implemented

5.4 Unused Access

  • Failure to use your membership access
  • Forgetting you had a membership
  • Not logging in during membership period
  • Choosing not to participate

5.5 Partial Use

  • Using the membership for any period of time
  • Accessing community features or content
  • Participating in discussions
  • After 7 days from purchase (except in eligible scenarios)

5.6 Policy Disagreements

  • Disagreement with refund policy
  • Disagreement with Terms of Service changes
  • Disagreement with Community Guidelines
  • Disagreement with moderation decisions

5.7 Third-Party Issues

  • Issues with payment processor
  • Credit card expiration or changes
  • Bank or payment method problems

6. SUBSCRIPTION CANCELLATION

  • Services never provided despite payment

9.4 Fraudulent Chargebacks

Filing a chargeback for services you received may constitute fraud:

  • We reserve right to pursue legal action
  • You may be liable for our costs and damages

10. PARTIAL REFUNDS

10.1 Pro-Rata Calculations

When applicable, partial refunds are calculated pro-rata:

  • Based on unused days of membership
  • Calculated from termination/discontinuation date
  • Rounded to nearest dollar
  • Minimum refund amount: $5.00

  • Annual membership: $120
  • Terminated after 100 days
  • Unused days: 265
  • Refund: ($120 ÷ 365) × 265 = $87.12

10.2 Processing Fees

We may deduct payment processing fees from refunds:

  • Typically 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction
  • Only for refunds not caused by our error

While medical emergencies are not typically covered, we will review requests on a case-by-case basis:
